The Web site dedicated to SIGUL was published today.
This Special Interest Group on Under-resourced Languages was set up by the ELRA Language Resources Association (ELRA) and the International Speech Communication Association (ISCA) with the aim of building a community of professionals not only supporting linguistic diversity through technology and ICT but also committed to increase, through language and speech technology, the chances of survival of the lesser-resourced languages (regional, minority or endangered) in the digital world.
