Two major international key players in the area of Computational Linguistics – the ELRA Language Resources Association (ELRA) and the International Committee on Computational Linguistics (ICCL) – have joined their forces to organize LREC-COLING 2024, the Joint International Conference on Computational Linguistics, Language Resources and Evaluation, which will be held at the Lingotto Conference Centre in Torino (IT) as well as in a virtual format from 20 to 25 May 2024.
The hybrid Conference will bring together researchers and practitioners in Computational Linguistics, Speech, Multimodality and Natural Language Processing, with a special attention to Evaluation and the development of Language Resources that support work in these areas.
Following the tradition of the well-established COLING and LREC Conferences, LREC-COLING 2024 will feature grand challenges and provide attendees with ample opportunities for exchanging information and ideas through oral presentations and extensive poster sessions, complemented by a friendly social program.
The Conference will last three days and will be accompanied by selected Workshops and Tutorials to be held in the days immediately preceding and following the Conference for a total of three additional days.
